Canada’s Bombardier investing in Indiana’s aerospace future

Canadian investments in Indiana create local jobs and build a stronger U.S. economy. Bombardier is expanding its U.S. footprint with a new 64,500-square-foot service center at Fort Wayne International Airport.

The Canadian aircraft manufacturer’s investment will create 100 high-skilled jobs in maintenance, engineering, and support services.

Scheduled to open in 2026, the facility will strengthen Bombardier’s service network and contribute to Indiana’s growing aerospace industry.

Forging growth in Bloomington

Almvoy American Inc., a Canadian-based precision steel fabricator, is launching manufacturing operations in Bloomington, Indiana.

The company expects to hire 50 to 100 manufacturing and engineering roles at the facility to bolster their U.S. production capacity and strengthen Bloomington’s advanced-manufacturing landscape.

By expanding into Indiana, Almvoy is also reinforcing the deeply integrated Canada–U.S. manufacturing supply chain, supporting innovation, skills development, and long-term economic resilience on both sides of the border.

This is an example of how Canadian investments and partnerships are vital for local communities, providing well-paying jobs.
