Biederman invests in Rogersville

Biederman Enterprises, a Canadian manufacturer of industrial equipment and specialty components, has expanded its U.S. presence with operations in Tennessee, underscoring the strong trade and investment ties between Canada and the United States.

Biederman supplies advanced machinery and engineered products that support industries ranging from automotive to manufacturing. The company is investing $4.4 million to locate its first U.S. facility in Rogersville, with updates to increase capacity, expand product offerings, and enhance brand visibility. The Tennessee operation, which will create 48 new jobs, highlights how Canadian innovation is being integrated into the state’s industrial supply chains across the Southeast. Stuart C. McWhorter, Tennessee Deputy Governor and Tennessee Department of Economic & Community Development, said, “Since 2019, Canada has been Tennessee’s top foreign direct investment partner when it comes to job creation with Canadian companies creating more than 4,000 jobs statewide. Building and fostering strong international partnerships is a key part of our strategic recruitment efforts…This investment further strengthens the thriving business climate that our global partners have helped cultivate here.”

For Biederman, Tennessee represents not only a strategic hub for U.S. expansion but also a vital link between Canadian engineering excellence and American industrial strength, benefiting both economies through shared prosperity.
